Hello! It´s been a while since I posted anything here, I took a little break from the blog, but not from my kitchen. On Instagram, I posted some things. I tried different recipes and I have been non-stop, both healthy recipes and the classic Christmas with 500 thousand calories, haha. We were home most of the time and it was so cold that I wanted to be as close to the oven as possible.
I had planned to upload a lot of healthy recipes or improved versions of the typical Christmas recipes, but I decided not to upload them because I think that on these special dates we want to eat traditional things, things that taste like family. So I prepared several traditional recipes with my children enjoying together, cooking as a family. In fact, everything started with some cookies that we made as Christmas gifts for my children´s teachers. They were delicious.
Of course, we also did healthy things, some of my Christmas gifts were little things that we prepared at home, like sugar-free kiwi jam, homemade granola, coconut kisses. I added Christmas ribbons, a cute label, they were great gifts.
I made a big effort not to overdo it with the meals, especially with processed and those that have excessive amounts of sugar, but it was not easy. Especially for nougat … and wine, chocolate, and …
Now back to the routine, eat well and exercise, it´s been only a week and I already feel better … My stomach thanks me when I behave well.
Now I have to catch up on the recipes, I have a few requests on Facebook, so I’m going to work on those.
