PIZZA!! PIZZA!! PIZZA!!
Pizza is something that almost everyone loves, it has become an international food that is found in every corner of the world.
The best thing about it is that each one can choose the topping they like the most and it can be a complete and nutritious dish … The bad thing is when eating it in fast food places it loses its quality and stops being nutritious to become that “demon” that we all fear because it is fattening and not healthy. And when we eat that pizza we feel guilty.
At home we always prepare pizza, home-made dough, homemade sauce … etc … we try to have quality ingredients and my children love them, and adults … haha, of course.
As always I am looking for ways to replace wheat flour, because we abuse with the consumption of wheat every day, so I try different recipes. I decided to try this cauliflower base one, I have to confess that it took me a few months to decide to make it, because that cauliflower pizza does not sound at all appealing … or does it? I think not.
My super friend / cousin / accomplice Mayrim prepared it a few months ago and told me that her son had liked it, her son is just as fussy as mine, so I had to try it.
I loved it and my husband did too, my girl liked it and ate half a pizza, my son liked it a little less but ended up eating a quarter of the pizza …. That’s something …
I got the recipe from Dr. Berg (my brother Jose gave me the link) but here I give you my version, the way I did it and what worked for me.
